Andrea Zapp
creates digital “Networked Installation Stages”, mixing and referencing real, virtual and online spaces, combined with surveillance interfaces and technology.
Recent research includes “Media, Miniature and Shifting Scales” as another reflective format of installation architecture and digital habitat.
Current ongoing experiments take these ideas further into “Textile Media”, combining narrative and digital imagerywith fabric print and desgin, embroidery, fashion and sculpture.
Works as Sen. Lecturer at the School of Art/Manchester Metropolitan University and currently develops the MA Media Lab (postgraduate studies and practice in collaboration with external art & media centres in the UK) – to begin Oct 2009
